Research showing Hindic civlization as universe worst racist

Hindic civilization indicted as world worst racist again

It seems that Indians nationals just cannot stop their nonsense. Two days ago, the respected Washington Post published research showing Indian as the 4th worst racist in whole universe [see this]. A group of Swedish economists conduct a survey. The survey asked respondents in more than 80 different countries to identify kinds of people they would not want as neighbors. Some respondents, picking from a list, chose “people of a different race.” The more frequently that people in a given country say they don’t want neighbors from other races, the economists reasoned, the less racially tolerant you could call that society. (The study concluded that economic freedom had no correlation with racial tolerance, but it does appear to correlate with tolerance toward homosexuals.)

And in the survey, India Indians rank 4th while another Bangladeshi, another Hindic people rank 2nd in racism. Other non tolerant people includes those from Islamic civilizations. Pakistan which straddle between Hindic and Islamic civilization is surprisingly shown to be tolerant in the survey. Sinitic dominant countries like China, Taiwan, and in particular Singapore has proven to be very much less racist, the only exception is Hong Kong ranking top in racism.

So if we take Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan as Sinitic civilization, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh as Hindic civilization and the rest of the Muslim countries as Islamic civilization, the Hindic civilization will top as world's biggest racist.

India, Jordan, Bangladesh and Hong Kong by far the least tolerant. In only three of 81 surveyed countries, more than 40 percent of respondents said they would not want a neighbor of a different race. This included 43.5 percent of Indians, 51.4 percent of Jordanians and an astonishingly high 71.8 percent of Hong Kongers and 71.7 percent of Bangladeshis.

FT Indian resented in the entire world because of their problematic racist way of life

Today, we look at departments of every companies where FT Indians are managers. There is a clear pattern that all non-Indians executives will be kicked out to be replaced with FT Indians shipped from India.

At the same time, FT Indians feign victims by accusing all non Indians of racism against Indians. However, from this survey, we can conclude that wherever FT Indians go, they are always planning to kick out non-Indians because Indians simply do not want a neighbor from elsewhere other than India.

The Malay in Malaysia may probably be right by giving all sorts of negative associations for Indians [see this]. We may need further reflection on whether Malaysian Malay are racist or whether they are candid and truthful in their opinions towards Indians.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

This from a Singapore Chinese lady -

"My first encounter with racial discrimination was in my kindergarten. In K2, there was an Indian girl in my class and no one wanted to make friends with her just because of her skin colour. So, I did because I thought it was the right thing to do. Everyone discriminated against me because of that (mob mentality)."

Wonder where these kindergarten kids learned their racism - from their parents, their teachers, their friends.

Hey Veritas,
Since you are from the PRC, can you comment on this

[Shane] Todd’s father Rick has said his son’s death may have been tied to his work at the Singapore’s Institute of Microelectronics and connected to transfers of technology to China.

Hey Veritas,
Looks like the game is up for your relatives from the PRC.

A US congressional committee last year labelled Huawei and ZTE, another Chinese telecom firm, as potential security threats that should be excluded from US government contracts and barred from acquiring US firms.

http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/singapore-asks-us-parents-evidence-064940701.html

They allege he was killed because of his work for a Singapore institute with purported links to a Chinese telecom firm accused of involvement in espionage.

My Chinese girlfriend strongly feels that many Chinese are too brainwashed to overcome their racist attitudes towards blacks. She states that only a few Chinese are able to over come the years of racist programming that they have had to endure. She feels that this attitude is deeply buried in Chinese culture.

Are the Chinese racist?

I have asked my wife whether she would have been prepared to marry a black man. Emphatic negative. She is not personally prejudiced, and has adjusted happily to multicultural Lancashire – but she would simply not have been able to do it. It is the social conditioning: she would be too fearful of what they would say back in Chongqing. Everyone in China "knows" that all Africans have HIV.

This is funny
...a [Chinese] woman who has travelled and hooked a white guy has automatically raised her status thereby.

What happens (sadly) when Singapore Chinese go to the West.

Shouts of "Jackie Chan!" and kung-fu noises from random strangers continue to greet me in the street, perhaps followed by a "konichiwa!"

Going to drama school in London was a revelation; I was told I couldn't perform in a scene from a play because it had been written for white people.

That is because most Chinese in the west are victims of black criminals some point in their life.

Anyone who got rob or raped by blacks shared the same feeling.

Veritas .. i am a frequent reader of this blog. but off late i feel your blog is becoming more discriminatory against Indians.

Veritas said...

I am sorry about that. Maybe let me try see I can talk about other topic other than Indians for next few weeks.

I got overwhelm when I look at Faz's writing as well as the comments.

Trust me, once Indians show that they are good, I will blog it. I am not racist.

Also visiting Indo-pak forum makes and reading Indian newspaper in the weeks of Sino India stand off make me really angry about the conduct of Indians. The whole Indian newspaper is a bunch of mad man.

The next thing is issues in Manipur and assam regions that most readers are not aware of, and has wider implication of Hindic and yellow people conflict make me feel sickening.

I am sorry about that.

Some commenters have post links of Chinese racism against others. I agree there are racist in Chinese but we are the least racist tribe.

I would not discuss the comments until I found cases that show that we have problem.

I give you an example. Indian murder whole daughter family due to intercaste marriage, (caste-ism is racism). This is sick and worth discussing. Those "common" racist act are too many to be discussed every one of them.

My Singapore Chinese classmates were openly racist and kept making racist remarks about the other races in Singapore all the time. They acted like they were big shots.

By coincidence, many of these classmates ended up going to the same university overseas as I did.

Once, these same Singapore Chinese racists were the butt of racism by the Ang Mos. They were called CHONGS and HORRIES (due to their eyes.) When they spoke up in class, the Singlish and accent was mocked. The big shots suddenly became cowards and dared not to speak up to defend themselves.

You know what I did?

I stood up for these Singaporean Chinese and would admonish people for being racist.

That is what being a decent human being is all about.

We should get rid of racism and also caste system. What you did is right.

My blog is a good place to bash racism.

Right now I am touching only skin deep about Hindic caste-ism and Malay Islamism, will the minorities stomach if I discuss in details about their racial characteristic and also inter Hindic and Islam antagonism?

You may dig about Chinese racism. But I assure you this is not a interesting topic to talk about compared to Islamism and Hindutva.

At this point of time, we Singaporeans are educated enough to discuss all sensitive topic.

When we discuss, we introspect. We get clearer view.

There is a huge mistake in the survey to Hong Kong. As the translation problem, the "no" changed to "yes" and "yes" changed to "no"

The correct result should be: In Hong Kong 78.1% found it acceptable
to have different race neighbours, while less than 20% found it
acceptable to have drunks, emotionally unstable and drug addicts as
neighbours.

You can also contact the Hong Kong University Professor who conducted
the survey (credited in the pdf). He can confirm that it was indeed a
mistranslation.

One potential problem with this servery database is serious
mistranslation, when a survey was conducted in local language and then
someone made one careless mistake when translating it.

Here is one example:

From at the official site of the survey documents:
http://www.wvsevsdb.com/wvs/WVSDocumentation.jsp?Idioma=I

Look at the "WVS - Hong Kong - 2005 (879 Kb)"

First the raw numbers which you used for you world map drawing at page 22 (pdf page#):

http://i.imgur.com/f8Hggjq.jpg

So it looks like 78.1% of people in Hong Kong dislike other races, as
you say "astonishingly high." But don't you find it more unbelievable
that the next two questions say 80% people don't mind having drunks or
emotionally unstable peoples as neighbors? Or even more crazy stuff on
the next page, which say 90% people think it's fine to have drug addicts
as neighbors?

Next please look at the original questionnaire in Traditional Chinese at page 88

http://i.imgur.com/bFy8us9.jpg

The translation of the question is:

"26. For people with these background, which do you find unacceptable to be your neighbor? [show card]"

a - with criminal record

b - different race

c - heavy drinker

d - emotionally unstable

Answer: (1) acceptable (2) unacceptable

i.e. the answers are not "mention" or "no mention", or "yes/no", or "check 1 if applicable".

It is obvious that the survey result for those questions was inverted
by mistranslation, and now one of the most progressive and multiracial
city in Asia get this super racist label, again. Yes another media also
used the inverted data a few years ago, and they ignored my request for
correction:

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/time-to-lead/multiculturalism/diversity-yes-in-my-backyard/article1736042/

I wonder if the Bangladeshis number is also mistranslated. They
don't give the impression of having random racial riot every month.

Edit:
One of the comment on Washington Post linked to this post showing how the Bangladesh number was also inverted.

Hey Veritas you said that Indian Hindic is worst racist. But doesn't that place got to the Hongkongers who came in as no 1 racist in the survey.
By your logic Chinese should then be No 1 racist in the world.
So why the deliberate ignoring of the Hingkongers, status in the survey.

Veritas said...

In India and China, there are crazy people and region. So you average out and tends not to see the regional fluctuation.

Honky is 7 million compared to 1.3 billion of PRC. Honky is 0.5% of Sinic people.

The PRC would dilute HK racism fully, if comparing the Chinese. HK is under UK and quite anglicized. And can HK represent Sinic or not is big question.
